We upgraded our online literacy platform to Raz-Plus. It will be available to our students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. Raz-Plus is a comprehensive blended learning platform that includes the curricular support teachers need and the personalized resources necessary to improve students’ reading skills. With more than 50,000 resources that include more than 3,000 leveled books and readers available in multiple formats, Raz-Plus makes it easier than ever before to strengthen the connection between what is being taught and what students are practicing. Resources vary by the reading levels and the contents.
What the new platform brings:
Teacher-Led Instruction
Raz-Plus includes a robust collection of resources, lesson plans, activities, and quizzes to ensure students receive the differentiated instruction they need. Resources are easily customized to fit any instructional model and promote key 21st century skills.
Independent Practice
Raz-Plus provides a personalized library of leveled books and additional reading passages available in printable, projectable, online, and mobile formats to each student. All online student activity is tracked in data-driven reports to help determine future instruction.
Formative Assessment
Raz-Plus offers a variety of assessment tools that allow teachers to easily place students at the appropriate reading level, monitor reading progress, and determine future instruction. Printable and digital comprehension quizzes compliment each leveled book.
