Attention all students in grades 3-8 who love to recite the Qur’an! Tulip Islamic Center is hosting a Qur’anic recitation competition that you won’t want to miss. This is an incredible opportunity to showcase your recitation skills and compete with other students in your grade. To participate, all you need to do is submit your video along with your name, grade, and email address. There are two categories, one for boys and girls in grades 3-5 and another for boys and girls in grades 6-8. Judging will be based on four criteria including Tajweed, Makharij, Clear and Fluency Reading, and Maqamat. On May 7th at 8:00 pm EST, the winners will be announced during a special ceremony on Zoom. The first place winner will receive a $100 gift card, second place will receive a $75 gift card, and third place will receive a $50 gift card. But that’s not all! The first 20 participants will receive a $10 gift card just for entering. Don’t miss your chance to participate in this amazing competition and show off your Qur’anic recitation skills!
